Agus Firmansyah, someone who is familiarly known as Iping, is very attached to the word 'product.' He has 3 words that describe who Agus is. The first is definitely 'product.' The second is stubbornness. And the last is research madness. This is a glimpse of who Agus really is.
"In our product, we have to be more stubborn," said Agus. "If product people are not stubborn, they will be thrown easily by the stakeholders. In the product world, you are often asked to make many things. That's where you need to be stubborn about your product.
Starting his career from something very technical, currently Agus is a product manager who is difficult for engineers to fool. Because Agus knows the ins and outs of their logic. This is what makes Agus a product manager who is able to develop his product very rapidly.
The challenges in the product are more complex than engineering. As an engineer, you only need to talk to the machine or Stack Overflow. However, in the product, you will intersect with many people. Whether it's stakeholders, clients, or customers.
The challenge that Agus often faces is how to meet the expectations of many parties. For example, stakeholders, clients, and customers have different expectations. You need to align all that and how to make all those expectations fulfilled.
